Dominica, 2025
Self portraiture is not a realm of photography I’ve spent much time in - historically, I’ve been far more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. Who I believe myself to be changes monthly, daily, in minutes. Who I believe myself to be shifts with each location and each community I find myself within. How can I express myself in one image when I am both a new person and all the people I’ve ever been, all at once, in each breath? Most of the time, I don’t know, so I don’t - but on this day, I stopped taking it all so seriously for long enough to just let myself be. This photo is a composite of six photographs taken in a secret jungle hot spring on Dominica, an island in the Caribbean with stunning diving, colorful homes, and some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met.
This limited edition image can be printed on high quality vibrant Professional Photo Lustre paper or Chromalux Metal. Paper prints come with a 1 in. white border around the image to accommodate framing (so for example, if you purchase a 12×18 print, the image will be 12×18 and the finished paper will be 14×20). Metal prints are printed edge to edge.
Please note that all prints ship unframed. Contact me via email if you are interested in discussing framing options for paper prints. Metal prints come with the necessary hardware to hang.
Each image will only be printed and sold to the first 20 buyers. After 20 prints have been made of any size or material, the image is discontinued and no longer available for purchase. If you are interested in a size that’s not listed here, please reach our via email.
